Weekly Update

Posted on 13 Sep 2013 @ 12:11am by Rear Admiral Lirha Saalm

Hi gang, this is a medium-sized update so please bear with me and assimilate this information ;)

First, we're making great progress on our all-crew JP and the drama has been outstanding! I couldn't be happier as a CO, and I hope all of you are enjoying the chance to confront the Borg :)

I'd like to give everyone a player status update as some people's availability has recently changed. Tom has recently returned from his honeymoon with a vengeance and I'm happy to have him back!. In addition, Nelle (Peers), Dennis (Rhodes), and Allie (Fleming) are back with us, so please get in touch with them for any JP requests and writing opportunities. Matt (Quinn) has also returned but is recovering from his recent scare, so please be patient with him while he adjusts and rests. This means the only players we currently have on LOA at the moment are Sam (S'Ranna), Psylus (Amril), and Matt (Cho). I have not heard from Megan (Chevalier) for a while so I am not sure of her status, but hopefully she will return to us soon.

I will be taking my own vacation pretty soon and will be gone from Sunday through Tuesday (Sept 15-17), so while I'm gone, Tom (Holliday) and Kate (Blake) will be in charge. If you need anything from the command staff, you know where to reach them and they'll be happy to assist. My goal is to have this mass-JP ready to finish by the time I go, so please stay on top of your tags in the coming days as there will be more fun developments.

Next, our little family has just grown once again, and it's with much pleasure that I'd like to announce our newest arrival. Please welcome:

LTJG Norvi Stace, Chief Research Officer

Stace is played by Shaun, a very experienced OF simmer and former-CO of USS Archimedes (Nova Class). He will be working with our science department to create some great role-play, and I look forward to writing and interacting with him in the coming months!

Lastly, I am a bit behind on the monthly website update as well as the new CPS. School is kicking my butt right now and I sincerely apologize for the delay. I think I can have both of them posted by tomorrow, fingers crossed.

That's all I can think of for now. Carry on, Galileans!
-Jay
