Weekly Update

Hi crew, here's our weekly update.

First, I'd like to mention that it's a busy time of year for many people so there will no doubt be a few of us coming and going off LOA in the near future. We currently have five players on LOA and they include Matt (Quinn), J (Blake), Anne (Rice), Adam (Markos), and Nelle (Peers). I'm expecting most of them to be back within the next week so please be patient and don't stress over any pending JPs you might have with those writers.

Next, we have a new player who joined us yesterday. Please welcome:

ENS Marjorie Horne, Asst. Chief Operations Officer

Congratulations on your new assignment and welcome to Galileo! Marjorie is played by Rebecca who is a fellow experienced OF simmer, so please send her a friendly PM to make her feel welcome and engage her in some fun JPs.

Our mission is moving along very smoothly so at this time I'd like to advance the story a bit. MD10 and MD11 are now open to begin writing so feel free to start your asteroid surveys whenever you like and help identify some resource deposits. There is still plenty of room left on some of the shuttle expeditions so don't hesitate to sign your characters up on the AT/SET Schedule if you would like to get involved.

And lastly, this is a final reminder for the month that all personal logs and Crew's Choice Award votes must be submitted by Friday evening (the 31st). Again, if you need an extension, simply let Tom or I know before the deadline. Our two new players, Rebecca and Elizabeth, are exempt from these requirements because they only recently joined the sim.
