Weekly Update

Hi crew, I don't have much major news to mention this week...instead just a few small updates. We have just completed our arrival at Rojar II and our first set of away team JPs are already in progress. I hope to be able to start the second, larger set early next week once the first teams have completed a bit more basic info and introduction to the moons.

We currently have four players on LOA and they include: Quinn, Kiwosk, Panne, and Orexil. They should all (hopefully) be back with us in the next couple weeks, so please be patient with them as we try and move forward in our JPs.

As all of you probably know by now, my previously scheduled LOA will not be taking place at this time which means I will be sticking around for the immediate future. However, I am rather busy with work at the moment so Tom and Sarah will be taking over the administrative duties of the sim for the next couple weeks to allow me to catch my breath. I will still try to remain active in all of my JPs but please send all sim issues to our XO and 2XO so that they can take some of the pressure off of me.

Lastly, on a bit of a disturbing note, Tom and I recently had to deal with an issue of plagiarism within the fleet. Another CO apparently saw fit to copy and paste some of our work into his own simulation without permission, and the situation has since been dealt with. I know all of us here would never engage in such behavior, but please remember that our conduct is representative of Galileo, Task Force 72, and Obsidian Fleet as a whole.
