Welcome Aboard!

Crew,

I want to welcome everyone to the sim and give a little information about our first mission, which will last only about a month. Episode 00 is a short mission and the in-character time frame is five days, MD 01 thru MD 06. The Galileo is currently in San Francisco so that's where all characters will need to go to in order to check in. We also have a couple of important events on our calendar coming up soon...

- MD 05 @ 0900 hrs all crew need to report to the shipyards so we can board the ship and do a quick inspection and preliminary systems check.

- MD 05 @ 1800 hrs we have a crew banquet/reception to attend (Starfleet is throwing us a going away party!).

- MD 06 @ 1000 hrs we have a final systems check, and then one last night to hang out before we depart Earth.

I'll be giving everyone instructions for all of this in-character as we approach our launch date. In the meantime, everyone is free to have fun and do some character development. We're in California so go check out the beach, socialize, go to the pool, have a night out in the city, etc... just make sure you're not too hungover the next day ;-)
